OUR PHILOSOPHY
A fresh,
positive approach and lots of enthusiasm are the hallmarks
of our school. Each child's unique style of living, learning
and developing is valued and nurtured. Our main goals are to
develop a feeling of self worth and individuality for each
child, and to teach appropriate communication skills and sensitivity
to the needs of others. We encourage children to observe the
world around them, enabling them to express themselves in
a variety of ways. We believe children need to explore, analyze,
investigate and communicate. Through active participation,
learning goes beyond mere knowing to experiencing.
OUR
CURRICULUM
Our preschool program is designed to enrich a child's comprehension
and appreciation of the world in a fun and wholesome way.
Our program includes hands-on activities in art, music, reading
and math readiness, science and computers. The children will
also explore their Jewish heritage through singing and dancing,
painting and shaping, holiday cooking, story telling and lots
of imaginative play. Each child will be encouraged to experiment
freely at his or her own pace, with the teachers acting as
facilitators. Our low staff child ratio enables the students
to receive the individual attention they deserve.

OUR
STAFF
Our staff is hand picked, not only for their experience and
credentials, but most of all for their warmth and caring.
With the guidance of licensed and loving teachers, your child
will be motivated to grow socially, morally and academically.Supervision
at all times, and your child's safety is our number one priority.
Preschool
Gan Menachem Preschool is licensed by the City of El Paso
and is associated with the Chabad Lubavitch worldwide movement.
Our staff consists of qualified and experienced teachers who
are trained in early childhood education.
At Gan Menachem Preschool, your child will be exposed to a
rich and meaningful Jewish program consisting of Jewish holidays,
traditions, and the Hebrew alphabet and language. In addition,
your children will be offered a comprehensive secular curriculum
which includes reading and math readiness, concepts in science,
and social studies. All of the above is taught through music,
art and creative play.
We hope to make you and your child feel like a part of our
"family." Gan Menachem is a place where parents
and, indeed, the entire family play a very integral part of
the educational process. Through holiday celebrations, birthday
parties, newsletters, parent-teacher conferences, and social
activities, your family becomes a significant part of our
very special Jewish community.
Your child must be at least 3 years old and toilet-trained
to attend school and can continue in our program until she
or he is ready to begin elementary school.
